The Ham Rut

if you find that you are "ham trace", then why not put a whole ham in a pan and see how to cook?
...

I heard a story some time ago about the deliciously cooked pršut.Večeru guests just raved about how good it tasted a ham. Finally, one of the guests asked her host what she's such a secret to preparing a juicy taste of ham!She said that she had a special secret that just before cooking, it is trimmed off both ends of the ham. "And why do you do," said the curious customer asked?
proud host then explained: "Well, my mother taught me to cook it. That's the way I was doing it for years, and it always comes out delicious ."
is not satisfied, an inquisitive press. "But why did she trim off both ends of the ham? How in the world does that make it taste so good ?"
"I really do not know," replied her guest. "I never thought about it. But I will ask and I'll be back with you ."
The next day she called her mom and asked why the trimmed ends with the ham before cooking, hoping to get some of the secrets of cooking the answer. But her mom was no help at all. "Why, honey, it's just that the grandmother has taught me. It is always so, and her ham was always delicious," she answered. "Why do not you ask her ?"
a feeling that is now looking for something very important, she actually called her grandmother and asked the same question. Much to her dismay, she got the same answer. Grandma just said, "Oh my dear, it's just the way my mother taught me ."
Now, desperate for an answer, she called her grandmother and asked, "Why do you trim both ends off the ham before cooking? I cook better that way? Does it have something to do with the juices ?"
a wise old lady replied: "Oh honey, cut ends off the ham is absolutely nothing to do with any of these things ."
"But then why did you cut the ends off?" A young lady asked, now very confused.
She said: "I trimmed off the ends so it would fit in my pan !"
Now there's a lot of lessons!
Are you in a "ham clue?" A lot of people. It is so easy to get in a rut or a routine and do not know why we do certain things.
A lot of times, it is because we have been taught or observed things. Having them in some way for some time, we hardly change. Although we have never asked why we did things the way we are doing, we just continue the same old way.
This is especially true with our thoughts. We think we're thinking the right way, because we have learned somewhere, and we just keep thinking that way without having to stop and ask: "Why ?"
In the world we live in today, change is happening almost svakodnevno.Dana stay in one job for 40 years and then retire with a pension are pretty much otišao.Treba continue self-education and skill enhancement becomes vital necessity, not preference.
It's always a good idea to look at things we think and do and ask, "Why?" To find out where it all began. We can then determine if we have to change our mindset and course of action.
I certainly am not saying that we need to change something just for change. But it can be very useful to examine and evaluate.
and, in doing so, if you find that you are "ham trace", then why not put a whole ham in a pan and see how to cook?
